2021 Christmas Celebrations

Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC

We are grateful to those that joined us for the Annual Christmas Celebration Dinner on Saturday December 11, 2021 at the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 3517 International Ct NW, Washington, DC 20008. All Neighbors has coordinated this event, rejoicing over the birth of Jesus. Pastor Jeff Jacob from Word of Life International Church, Sterling, VA shared the Christmas message. Hilltop Church of the Nazarene, Northville, MI

We are grateful to those that joined us for the Christmas Celebration Dinner with Pastor Ben Walls and local International community leadership at Hilltop Church Of The Nazarene 21260 Haggerty Rd, Northville, MI 48167. Program opened with Prayer and American and Pakistan anthems. Mr. Ilyas Masih Founder All Neighbors International, Dr. Muhammad Zahid , Pastor Ben Walls  welcomed the international community to the Christmas celebration Dinner program.

2021 Diwali Mela

This year, our annual Diwali (“Light”) celebration was conducted Nov 14, 2021, at Martin’s West, Baltimore, MD.  We recognize that light brings understanding, and value truth and wisdom.  We are so grateful for all who presented cultural events and dancing, as well as speakers, delegates and performances that All Neighbors coordinated.   Please click here to view pictures.

2021 INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM CONFERENCE

All Neighbors partnered with IMRF (Implementation Minority Rights Forum) and conducted an International Religious Freedom and Rights of Minorities Conference in Pakistan in February 2021. Please click International Religious Freedom Conference Report to read a full report of the conference.


2019 CHRISTMAS AT THE ADAMS CENTER

We were grateful to those that joined us for the Christmas celebration dinner at the Chantilly location of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) center.  This was the second year that All Neighbors has coordinated this event, rejoicing over the birth of Jesus, and we hope to see you there.  Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM.  The Facebook page is here.


2019 FESTIVAL OF LIGHT (ANNUAL EVENT)

2019 Annual Festival of Light.  Thank you to all the people who came together in Ashburn, VA, on Saturday October 19, 2019, in celebration of “light” and “knowledge”, as celebrated around the world to symbolize joy, love, reflection, resolution, and forgiveness, representing the victory of good over evil and light over darkness.  On those fundamental principles we can all agree! We also shared our brief presentation, as we got to know each other.  We certainly enjoyed the lively stage performances, cultural activities, family-friendly craft activities, henna art and delicious tasting food from the Indian subcontinent that was for sale, at this event that was free for entry. 2019 INDIA INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL

2019 India Independence Day Festival. We hope you enjoyed the event on August 24th in Ashburn, VA. We sure enjoyed getting to know everyone who attended, the great food, clothing and jewelry from vendors, and the live entertainment. If you missed it, here is the flyer.


2019 PAKISTAN INDEPENDENCE DAY FESTIVAL

2019 Pakistan Independence Day Festival. This event was coordinated by All Neighbors and hosted by several sponsors, on August 25th, in Ashburn, VA, and we were so grateful to meet our neighbors. We celebrated with live entertainment, food, clothing and jewelry vendors. The flyer is here.

2ND ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL CELEBRATION

2nd Annual International Festival Celebration. A celebration at Stone Bridge High School, Ashburn, VA, on Saturday April 13, where we made friends and supported our international community through free opportunities, including a moon bounce for kids, and made purchases through vendors for international food and cultural items. 2018 ANNUAL PRESENTATION TO CHURCHES

2018 Annual Presentation to Churches.  In October, we conducted a presentation of our activities, inviting the pastors of Loudoun County churches for fellowship and awareness of opportunities in our community.


2018 “HOLIDAY LIGHTS OF THE WORLD” DRAMA EVENT FUNDRAISER

2018 Drama Event Fundraiser.  All Neighbors is grateful to the Eagle Ridge Middle School Drama department, for the fundraiser on December 9th, supporting women’s program for education, vocational training, and support.  We really enjoyed their quality event for a multicultural experience, and enjoyed the authentic Pakistani dinner.  The flyer is here.


2018 DIWALI FESTIVAL

2018 Diwali Festival.  This year, our annual Diwali (“Light”) celebration was conducted Nov 11, 2018, at Eagle Ridge Middle School.  We recognize that light brings understanding, and value truth and wisdom.  We are so grateful for our friendship with India International School, who presented cultural events and dancing, as well as our own speakers and performances that All Neighbors coordinated.   Dinner from our caterer and a vendor was very tasty!  Our Diwali Facebook event is here.


2018 PAKISTAN INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

2018 Pakistan Independence Day Celebration.  We are very thankful for those that joined us at the Pakistan Independence Day celebration, at Eagle Ridge Middle School, September 9th (celebration day; actual Independence Day: Aug 14th).    We enjoyed the Pakistani culture, songs, dance, and vendors and our celebration together.  Thanks to the representative from the Pakistan Embassy, who attended.  Was a free event with plentiful parking.  The flier is available here, and facebook here.


2018 EASTER CELEBRATION

2018 Easter at the Embassy of Pakistan, Washington D.C.  For the third year, All Neighbors has visited the Embassy of Pakistan to celebrate Easter with our neighbors.   We greatly thank the Embassy for hosting the event, and for His Excellency Mr. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Deputy Chief of Mission, who’s encouraging words promoted respect.  We also appreciate Solutions Catering and 5 Star Bakers, who provided the amazing dinner and dessert for the event.  We are also very grateful for Columbia Church Maryland, the Chinese Bible Church of Maryland, Dr. Rebecca Murray for her message, and Portering the Glory International.  Event was Friday, April 27, from 7-9pm.  About 80 attendees enjoyed a truly special occasion.  The event flyer is posted here, and posted to Facebook page here.


2018 NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

 2018 New Year Celebration (Rescheduling the 2017 Christmas Festival due to weather cancellation) Following the cancelation of the Christmas Festival due to inclement weather, the New Year event brought together nearly 100 neighbors at Eagle Ridge Middle School on January 27th, 2018.  The event flyer is posted here, and posted to Facebook page here.  We listened to a Gospel message from Dr. Chris Gnanakan of Liberty University, saw Christmas dance and program from our children, and Indian cultural dances.  We also enjoyed refreshments, and items from our international vendors.


2017 DIWALI CELEBRATION

2017 Diwali Festival was conducted Oct 21, 2017 at Eagle Ridge Middle School (Diwali=Light), as we celebrated the gift of hope, truth, and wisdom.  Friendships were formed during our exchange with our Hindu neighbors, and demonstrations of traditional Indian dance were provided from a partnership with Indian International School in Chantilly.  Mrs. Lakshmi Mittal served as emcee.  Over 300 enjoyed an Indian dinner during this FREE event.  Dr. Chris Gnanakan from Liberty University shared his Gospel message.  Please visit our Diwali Facebook page to view a list of interested attendees or read the letter from the Governor of Virginia.


2017 LOUDOUN INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY

Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan  Independence Day was celebrated by All Neighbors  on August 12th, 2017 inviting the 3 nations to come together in Unity and to stand for one  another with the spirit of Freedom and Love. We had  the place filled with audience from 4 nations Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and the United States celebrating this event.


2017 INTERFAITH IFTAR DINNER

Interfaith Iftar Dinner was hosted by All Neighbors on June 3rd, 2017  for Muslim neighbors with a free dinner at the conclusion of the day’s Ramadan fast. His Excellency Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Ambassador of Pakistan to US, gave a message of love and understanding.  More than 200 participants of various religions sang psalm 145 in unison. Prayers for peace in Pakistan and for the world were offered.
